C.H.I.M.E recovery

So as COVID-19 pendamic continues and restrictions still in place. The life you are use to, the life you have had to adjust to must appear small. Not being able to go anywhere at any time, visiting your loved ones, work life and spending more time at home.

Some of you may have a home full of loved ones to help get through this, some may not be as fortunate and be on their own, now imagine if you were stuck indoors alone, finding ways to pass the time, staying positive, struggling to get the things to you need.

This brings me to first letter in the acronym C.H.I.M.E

C- CONNECT.

Technology these days have made it at finger tips ready to connect with people, even if its just a quick message to say hello how are you, or a phone call, ask if they need anything, send them a little gift with a note, all this helps and could make that persons day, check on your neighbours especially if thier vulnerable, old and alone. This is the time where communitys come together to help, do they need a prescription collected? Food supplies? A friendly chat over the fence, on the phone, or a quick message ask if they are ok. Can you imagine not talking to anyone for days in a row, loneliness will start to affect thier wellbeing. So stay in touch, connect, stay stafe and be part of community in these worrying times.

The smallest things can impact in a big way, especially to those in need.

Follow up tomorrow for I in the acronym C.H.I.M.E.
